34Next: Community Views on Glenview 34 Schools is a collaborative effort between District 34 and a group of local residents. The purpose of this extensive community engagement program is for District 34 to gain a deeper understanding of the community’s values and help further shape the district’s priorities for its future.
We hope you will join us this fall to share your views of our future as a community.

Voices of 100 Community Members Heard at CES 1

On September 10, we hosted our first 34Next Community Engagement session at Attea Middle School. Nearly 100 members of the Glenview community attended this important event.

At our first session, participants heard from Bill Utter and Daniel O’Brien, our Co-Chairs, on how the 34Next process will work. Then,Superintendent Mike Nicholson presented on the Past, Present and Future of District 34. This was followed by meaningful participant discussion on their surprises, concerns and what they feel should be the priorities of the district.
